In Reference 1, as supplemented by Reference 2, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) received Amendments Nos. 297 and 290 to Subsequent Renewed Facility Operating Licenses (SRFOLs) Nos. DPR-31 and DPR-41 for Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Station, Units 3 and 4 (Turkey Point), respectively.
The amendments authorized the conversion of the Turkey Point current Technical Specifications (CTS) to the Improved Standard TS (ITS) and relocated certain requirements to licensee-controlled documents. In Reference 1, the NRC requested notification within 14 days upon implementing the ITS at Turkey Point.
This letter serves as notification of FPL's implementation of the ITS at Turkey Point on February 19, 2024.
