Indications were evaluated per Westinghouse letter L TR-SDA-20-079, Revision 1 (Proprietary).
Indication 1 is acceptable based on the original casing analysis. The IWB 2420 criteria of the flaw being "essentially unchanged" or bounded by a projection to the allowable flaw size is Welded Attachment satisfied. Additionally, the evaluation was 8-K / 810.30 RCP-A-1-IWA revised to provide further discussion of the possibility of flaw mechanisms other than casting defects.
Indications 2 through 5 are acceptable based on both the casing analysis, and a structural and fracture mechanics analysis that verifies the structural integrity of the welded attachment for at least 2 operating cycles.
No additional scope expansion or successive examinations required.
