This is a Comment-Gathering Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to receive comments from participants on specific NRC decisions and actions to ensure that NRC staff understands their views and concerns.
Purpose:
To provide the results of the NRC staff's environmental review of the subsequent license renewal environmental report, as supplemented, for Oconee Nuclear Station, Units 1, 2, and 3, as documented in its draft site-specific environmental impact statement and provide an opportunity for public comment on the NRC Staff's findings.

Open house: The meeting will begin at 7:00PM ET. It will be preceded by an open house session to begin at 6:00PM, for members of the public to converse informally with NRC staff. While comments will be accepted during the court reporter transcribed meeting, comments will not be accepted during the open house session. Matters related to participation in any hearing are outside the scope of matters to be discussed at this public meeting.
