1.0 INTRODUCTION

1.1 Purpose This procedure verifies compliance with Banked Position Withdrawal Sequence (BPWS). This is to ensure the assumptions of the control rod drop accident analyses are satisfied.

1.2 Scope This procedure is performed in conformance with requirements specified in Technical Specification (TS) Surveillance Requirement (SR) 3.1.6.1.

1.3 Frequency This procedure is to be performed once every 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br />.

1.4 Conditions This procedure can be performed in Modes 1 thru 4.

1.5 Applicability Modes 1 and 2 with THERMAL POWER d 10% RTP (SR-3.1.6.1).

6.0 PERFORMANCE

NOTE At any time the RWM is inoperable, the control rod pattern in the step below may be obtained by recording the control rod positions from Panel 2-9-5 on Attachment 1.

ATTACH a printout of the current control rod pattern using the Integrated Computer System (ICS).

RECORD the current RWM sequence and group, either from the RWM display or from the in use copy of 2-SR-3.1.3.5(A).

VERIFY that all control rods in the pattern obtained in Step 6.0[2] are within the insert and withdraw limits specified in 2-SR-3.1.3.5(A) for the current RWM group.
