Dear Dir. Warden:
Enclosed is an application, accepted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission on December 13, 2023, from Alpha-Omega Services, Inc., requesting an amendment to their current active license PXB6.42, for the export Category 1 quantities of Cobalt-60, contained in sealed sources, to Canada and Sweden; and export of Category 2 quantities of Iridium-192, contained in sealed sources for use in medical brachytherapy devices, to Japan.
The purpose of the amendment is to revise the list of U.S. Parties to the Export.
As a matter of process, and in accordance with 10 CFR 110.81 the application will be public for 30 days before the NRC takes any action on them. If no dissenting public comments are received, and all applicable legal requirements are satisfied, the NRC will issue the amended license, after the 30-day comment period.
