By letter dated November 30, 2022 (Agencywide Document Access and Management System Accession No. ML22335A417), BWXT Advanced Technologies, LLC submitted for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review topical report BANR-QAPD-001, BWXT Advanced Nuclear Reactor Quality Assurance Program Description, Revision 000.
The NRC staff reviewed the topical report and based on the review, issued requests for additional information (RAIs) on May 3, 2023 (ML23123A140). NRC staff received RAI responses on June 1, 2023 (ML23152A260).
The NRC staff has placed a copy of the draft safety evaluation for BANR-QAPD-001, Revision 000, in the BOX-EFSS folder to which you have access. Please submit comments, if any, on the draft safety evaluation within 15 working days from the date of this letter to the NRCs Document Control Desk. Both this email and the draft SE will be placed in ADAMS and made Official Agency Records.
