CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE NO. 9313, REVISION NO. 4, FOR THE MODEL NO. TN-40 PACKAGE
Dear Don Shaw:
As requested by your letter dated December 16, 2021 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML21350A282), as supplemented on June 6, November 14, December 5, and December 6, 2023, enclosed is certificate of compliance No. 9313, Revision No. 4, for the Model No. TN-40 package. The certificate was under timely renewal and thus was renewed for an additional 5 years. The staff's safety evaluation report is also enclosed.
TN Americas LLC is registered as a user of the package under the general license provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 71.17, General license:
NRC-approved package, or 49 CFR Section 173.471, Requirements for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission approved packages. The approval constitutes authority to use the package for shipment of radioactive material and for the package to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of 49 CFR 173.471.
