Dear Heath Baldner:
As requested by your application dated November 2, 2022 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML22306A109), supplemented on September 8, November 15, and December 11, 2023, enclosed is certificate of compliance No. 9390, Revision No. 2, for the Model No. OPTIMUS-L package. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staffs safety evaluation report is also enclosed.
NAC International has been registered as a user of the package under the general license provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 71.17 or 49 CFR 173.471. The approval constitutes authority to use the package for shipment of radioactive material and for the package to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of 49 CFR of 173.471.
