Accession Package No. ML23179A195), Westinghouse Electric Company (Westinghouse) submitted topical report EVR-LIC-RL-001-P/NP, Principal Design Criteria, for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review.
The NRC staff reviewed the report and held clarification calls with Westinghouse on September 15 and October 31, 2023. Based on the review and discussions, the NRC staff has identified that additional information regarding how Westinghouse intends to address fire protection requirements is needed to complete the review. On November 14, 2023, I placed an electronic version of the Request for Additional Information (RAI) in the box.com folder. The NRC staff and Westinghouse representatives discussed the RAI on a clarification call held on November 16, 2023.
The NRC staff request a response along with identifying any proprietary information by December 20th, 2023.
