By letter dated March 27, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System
[ADAMS] Accession Number ML23255A052), you submitted an application to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for the review of the Certificate of Competent Authority No.
F/358/AF-96 Revision Hw, Model No. COG-OP-30B. In your application you requested that the NRC provide a recommendation to revalidate the Model No. COG-OP-30B package.
The staff performed an acceptance review of your application and determined the application contains sufficient technical information in scope and depth to allow the staff to complete a detailed technical review. The review schedule allows for the staff to issue a request for additional information (RAI) in November 2023 and, if a second RAI is not needed, a revalidation recommendation in February 2024, based on you responding to the first RAI in early December 2023. In general, no additional changes to the application should be submitted except for changes resulting from your response to an RAI.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 2, Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS.
