River Bend Sta.tion USAR Revision 28, TRM Revision 168, Technical Specifications and Bases Amendment 212 & 23-04, 10 CFR 50.59 Report, 1 O CFR 72.48 Report, Commitment Change Summary Report, and 54.37(b) Report River Bend Station - Unit 1 NRC Docket Nos. 50-458,72-049 Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-47 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.71(e), Entergy Operations, Inc. (EOI) herein submits one CD containing a complete copy of the River Bend Station (RBS) Updated Safety Analysis Report (USAR) with the Revision 28 changes incorporated. Included with this update is an electronic copy of the current RBS Technical Requirements Manual (TRM) Revision 168 and. the current RBS Technical Specifications (TS) and Bases Amendment 212 & 23-04. The Revision 28 USAR submittal depicts the effects of changes made in the facility as described in the USAR during the period of July 22, 2021 through July 20, 2023. A list of effective pages is included in identifying the current USAR pages after incorporation of Revision 28 changes. A summary of changes to the TRM has been included in Attachment 2. A summary of changes to the TS Bases has been included in Attachment 3.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.71(e)(5), each page containing a Revision 28 change includes the verbiage "Revision 28" at the bottom of the revised page. ln addition, each text and table page containing a Revision 28 change includes change bars.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.59(d)(2), a 50.59 Summary Report is included as Attachment 4.
The 50.59 Summary Report contains a summary and copies of the 50.59 evaluations performed for the period July 22, 2021 through July 20, 2023. The Summary Report is provided to meet the requirements of 10 CFR 50.71(e)(2)(ii) for identification of changes made under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.59, but not previously submitted to the Commission.

RBG-48238 Page 2 of 3 In accordance with 1 O CFR 72.48(d)(2), Entergy Operation, Inc. is required to submit a summary of 72.48 Evaluations for the period July 22, 2021 through July 20, 2023. There were no 72.48 Evaluations for the indicated period.
In accordance with NEI 98-03, Appendix A, Section A6, a list and short description of information removed from the USAR should be included with. each USAR update submittal. A summary of these changes has been included in Attachment 5.
Per the reporting guidelines of Section 5.1 of NEI 99-04, "Guidelines for Managing NRC Commitment Changes," EOI is required to provide recent changes to NRC commitments. There was one commitment change made during the indicated period required to be reported to the NRC. The commitment change has been documented in a Commitment Change Summary Report in Attachment 6.
In accordance with 10 CFR 54.37(b), after a renewed license is issued, the USAR update required by 10 CFR 50.71(e) must include any systems, structures, and_ components (SSCs) newly identified that would have been subject to an aging management review or evaluation of time-limited aging analyses in accordance with 10 CFR 54.21. The USAR update must describe how the effects of aging will be managed such that the intended function(s) in 1 O CFR 54.4(b) will be effectively maintained during the period of extended operation. One USAR change was required in accordance with 10 CFR 54.37(b) during this reporting period. Attachment 7 contains a summary of this change.
