This license is amended to: 1) updated the point of contact; and 2) extend the date of expiration from June 30, 2023 to June 30, 2028.

The license authorizes the export of two 1,350 Megawatts electric (MWe) (4,005 Megawatts thermal (MWt)) Advanced Boiling Water Reactors, to be built at the Lungmen site and to be known as Taiwan Power Nuclear Units, Lungmen 1 and 2. The equipment authorized for export includes: 1) reactor pressure vessels; 2) specially designed equipment for inserting or removing fuel; 3) complete reactor control rod systems; 4) reactor primary coolant pumps; 5) reactor pressure tubes;

6) reactor internals; 7) reactor control rod drive mechanisms; 8) any other components and equipment especially designed or prepared for use in the reactors.

This license also authorizes the export of especially designed or prepared tools and equipment for installation, testing, refueling and maintenance of the reactors; technology and general purpose equipment related to the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the reactor and fuel; and the reactor training and nuclear energy information for support of the project.
