EFFECTIVE DATE:

(Date of publication in the Federal Register)

FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT:

David L. Meyer, Chief, Regulatory Publications Branch, Division of Freedom of Information and Publications Services, Office of Administration, U. s. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Washington, DC 20555, Telephone:

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

The commercial telephone number for the NRC's Region v Office has been changed, effective immediately.

This notice is being published to inform the public of the change in the commercial tel ephone number.

Because these amendments deal with agency practice and procedures, the notice and comment provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act do not apply under 5 u.s.c.

553(b) (A).

Good cause exists to dispense with the usual 30-day delay in the effective date because the amendments are of a minor and administrative nature concerning a change in a telephone number.
