INFORMATION MEETING WITH QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION TO DISCUSS NRC 2022 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF MONTICELLO NUCLEAR POWER STATION
Dear Christopher Domingos:
This letter is to inform you that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will conduct an Information Meeting with a Question and Answer Session on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CDT at the South Bridge Room of the Monticello Community Center and via webinar. The hybrid webinar portion of the meeting will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. CDT and the remaining portion of the meeting will be in an open house format. The Monticello Community Center is located at 505 Walnut Street, Monticello, MN 55362. The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed at the end of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting. In addition, members of the NRC will be available to discuss the assessment of Monticello Nuclear Generating Plants performance. Northern States Power Company is encouraged to participate in this meeting.
