CORRECTION OF TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS INCURRED DURING ISSUANCE OF LICENSE AMENDMENT NOS. 260 AND 255

Dear Mr. Coffey:

On June 15, 2012, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued License Amendment Nos. 249 and 245 to Renewed Facility Operation License (RFOL) Nos. DPR-31 and DPR-41 for the Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Unit Nos. 3 and 4, respectively (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML11293A365). In addition to other changes, License Amendment Nos. 249 and 245 specified a criticality temperature limit of 262 degrees Fahrenheit (°F) (previously was 260°F) in Technical Specification (TS) Figure 3.4-2. On June 13, 2014, the NRC issued License Amendment Nos. 260 and 255 to RFOL Nos. DPR-31 and No. DPR-41, respectively (ML13329A092). Among other changes, License Amendments 260 and 255 changed the page number that TS Figure 3.4-2 resides on (due to deletion of pages), but did not intend to change any information on TS Figure 3.4-2 itself.

Recently it was determined that during the processing of License Amendment Nos. 260 and 255, in TS Figure 3.4-2, the criticality temperature limit was inadvertently reverted back to 260°F (rather than 262°F), and the specified amendment number for Unit 4 was incorrectly stated as 225 (rather than 255).

The purpose of this letter is to issue a correction to TS Figure 3.4-2 on TS page 3/4 4-24 for Amendments Nos. 260 and 255. The NRC concludes that the corrections are administrative in nature and do not change the NRC staffs previous conclusion in the safety evaluation for Amendments No. 260 and 255. Enclosed is the corrected TS page 3/4 4-24.

If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact me at (301) 415-3867 or by email at Michael.Mahoney@nrc.gov.

Sincerely,

/RA/

Michael Mahoney, Project Manager Plant Licensing Branch II-2 Division of Operating Reactor Licensing Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation Docket Nos. 50-250 and 50-251
