This e-mail serves to transmit a request for information to support and prepare for the 95001 inspection at Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3, currently scheduled to occur the week of February 27, 2023.

By design, this supplemental inspection includes the use of Inspection Procedure (IP) 95001, to assess the causal evaluations conducted based on the two White EP findings provide assurance the causes of the issues have been identified, understood, and that the plan for corrective action involves prompt and effective steps to preclude repetition. Details of the requested materials are included in the attachment to this e-mail. As noted in the attached, if possible, please make the requested materials available to me in electronic format using the online document portal of the stations choice, by the dates stated within the attachment. If you are unable to complete the request by this date, please contact me at the phone number listed below to discuss alternative options.

This letter/e-mail does not contain new or amended information collection requirements subject to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.). Existing information collection requirements were approved by the Office of Management and Budget under control number 3150-0011. Provide the current calibration data/information related to the containment area radiation monitors (ARMIRE5014, ARMIRE5015, and ARMIRE5018), containment high range monitors (ARMIRE5400AS and ARMIRE5400BS), and main steam line A & B radiation monitors (PRMIRE5500A and PRMIRE5500B).

Extent of Condition work orders provided on February 16, 2023, regarding eleven radiation monitors needing corrected calibration were reviewed. The included summary work order list referen ces different work orders than those provided, and some of the work order status information on the eleven monitors may not be complete. Reconcile the work order list to those work orders provided and provide evidence of the current status for each of the radiation monitors in an understandable format.
