Rick,

A letter from TNT is attached that explains the Appendices for the MX-6 applications. There is a explanation of the appendices attached to the letter that should provide the clarification that the NRC requested to complete the review of MX-6 1F6 application.

RE: Query: MX-6 Application

Rick,

I will ask the TN Tokyo office for a letter confirming the applicability. This may take a week or so to get the letter.

Query: MX-6 Application

Security Notice: Please be aware that this email was sent by an external sender.

Good afternoon Peter,

In reviewing the application for the MX-6 with the 1F6 fuel, NRC noted that there are several appendices in the MX-6P safety analysis report that do not appear to be in the MX-6 safety analysis report. Notably, Appendices A.10.6 through A.10.12 in the MX-6P safety analysis report. These appendices are key to NRC safety findings in the MX-6P and NRC expected similar appendices in the MX-6 safety analysis report.

We need you to clarify if these appendices are applicable to both packages and therefore NRC can cross reference between docket files. You can simply email a letter to me confirming applicability or you can expect NRC to issue a request for additional information for the MX-6.

Thanks for you assistance. Hope you are well.
