The following security advisory (SA) is not publicly available because it is designated Official Use Only - Security-Related Information, which is exempt from public disclosure in accordance with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) sensitive unclassified nonsafeguards information (SUNSI) handling requirements:
- SA 2023-04, Recent Events Involving Actual and Attempted Introduction of Contraband and Weapons Related Material into A Protected Area
The NRC has issued SA 2023-04 on February 10, 2023, to all affected operating power reactors including those under construction; non-power reactors; decommissioning power reactors, including those that are permanently defueled but have not transitioned to decommissioning; fuel fabrication, enrichment, and conversion/deconversion facilities; independent spent fuel storage installations; and licensees possessing special nuclear material under Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 70. Note that the SA contains security-related information and is, therefore, being withheld from public disclosure in accordance with NRC SUNSI handling requirements.
