FINDING THAT ALL ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA ARE MET FOR VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT, UNIT 4
Dear Governor Kemp:
Pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.106(a)(3), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is informing you of a finding under 10 CFR 52.103(g) regarding Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP), Unit 4.
In accordance with Section 185b. of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and 10 CFR 52.103(g), the NRC has made the finding that all the acceptance criteria are met for the inspections, tests, analyses, and acceptance criteria included in Appendix C to Combined License No. NPF92 for VEGP, Unit 4.
Therefore, in accordance with 10 CFR 52.103(g), Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc.
(SNC) may now operate the facility in accordance with the combined license.
A notice of issuance of the affirmative 10 CFR 52.103(g) finding will be published in the Federal Register.
