FINDING THAT ALL ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA ARE MET FOR THE VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT, UNIT 4, COMBINED LICENSE

Dear Mr. Chick:

In accordance with Section 185b. of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 52.103(g), Operation under a combined license, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has made the finding that all the acceptance criteria are met for the inspections, tests, analyses, and acceptance criteria (ITAAC) included in Appendix C to combined license (COL) No. NPF-92 for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP), Unit 4. This finding is effective as of July 28, 2023.

Therefore, in accordance with 10 CFR 52.103(g), Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc.

may now operate the facility in accordance with COL No. NPF-92. The ITAAC in COL No.

NPF-92 no longer constitute regulatory requirements.

Enclosed is the NRCs finding that the acceptance criteria are met. The basis for the finding is documented in the 10 CFR 52.103(g) Basis Document for VEGP, Unit 4, which can be found in the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML22348A088.
