SUBJECT:

ADMINISTRATIVE CLOSURE DUE TO ABANDONMENT OF NEW LICENSE APPLICATION FOR RONE ENGINEERING SERVICES, LTD

Dear Kelly Rotert:

We have reviewed your new license application dated May 18, 2022, for a U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) license. Your application is available electronically from the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML22336A185.

An initial processing of your request, which included an acceptance review, has been performed, and we found that we did not receive payment of the required license application fee. After multiple communications with you, Rone Engineering Services, LTD has not resolved the payment issue as of the date of this letter. Therefore, in accordance with NUREG 1556, Volume 20, Consolidated Guidance About Materials Licensing - Guidance About Administrative Licensing Procedures, we have administratively closed your application. This determination to not accept your application for review is made without prejudice; you may resubmit if you desire. If you decide to resubmit your application, please ensure that you have included the entire application with the fee required as described in NUREG 1556, Volume 1, Program-Specific Guidance About Portable Gauge Licenses, Section 8.

If you have any questions, please contact Carol Hill of my staff at (817) 200-1140 or Carol.Hill@nrc.gov.

In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.390 of NRCs Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from ADAMS, accessible from the NRC Web site at https://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
