Dear Mr. Warden:
Enclosed is an application (XB1362) dated November 2, 2022, received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, from Eckert & Ziegler Analytics requesting the export of five sets of sealed sources, with each set containing Co-60 with an activity level of 185 kilobecquerel (kBq), for a maximum total quantity of 925 kBq to Eastern Testing Services (Private) in Pakistan.
Before taking action on this request, we would appreciate your views on this application, in accordance with Title 10 to the Code of Federal Regulations section 110.41(a)(10), from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the requested export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
