High Hi Gerry,
I hope that everyone had a great holiday weekend! I wanted to check in to (1) see where we are at in terms of collecting the information discussed during our June 7th call and (2) provide you with the attached additional clarification questions. These should represent the remainder of the questions the staff has to fill the holes in the La Crosse Class 1 survey unit release safety evaluation related to the basement and excavation survey units.
My hope is that we can set up a call sometime soon to discuss all of these remaining items and figure out how best to set up an efficient means of exchanging this information. Unfortunately Leah is on inspection next week and I am out at Diablo Canyon the week after, so if you want to have a (somewhat shotgun!) discussion it looks like tomorrow at 11 AM EDT or Thursday at 3 PM EDT could work on our end. Otherwise we can aim for the week of July 18th and I can set something up around the Diablo Canyon activities.
Please let me know what works best on your end and we can work out the rest! Thanks as always, please give me a shout if you have question or need anything additional, and I will talk to you soon!

Good afternoon all!
As discussed, please find attached the set of clarification questions the NRC staff was working from
during todays call on the Class 1 survey unit FSSR review currently underway for La Crosse. These are intended to be informal, and the responses can be similarly informal, but Leah and I thought it would be easier to have something in writing to work from. Please let me know if anything is unclear and give me a shout when ES is ready to reconvene on these topics. Thanks again for the discussion (and the memory tests!) and I appreciate the willingness to go back and dig around for some of this stuff!
