(Mon) OPENED L-2020- RIS - Clarification of Personnel Access Authorization Requirements for Non-Immigrant Foreign Nationals 29 01/06/2020 GEN-0000 Working at Nuclear Power Plants The purpose of this RIS is to reinforce the requirement that prior to granting or reinstating unescorted access (UA) or certifying unescorted access authorization (UAA) to non-immigrant foreign nationals for the purpose of performing work, licensees shall satisfy the requirements in 10 CFR 73.56(d)(3), Verification of true identity.

L-2021- RIS - 10 CFR 50.55a Operational Leakage Clarification 13 05/12/2021 GEN-0004 The purpose of this RIS is to clarify that the requirement of 10 CFR 50.55a(g)(4) applies at all times during operation.

L-2021- RIS - 2014-06 update - Consideration of Current of Operating Issues and Licensing Actions in License Renewal 13 05/27/2021 GEN-0005 The purpose of this RIS is to clarify how the NRC considers current operation of the facility in the license renewal review under 10 CFR Part 54, Requirements for Renewal of Operating Licenses for Nuclear Power Plants.

L-2021- RIS - Importance of Giving NRC Advance Notice of Intent to Pursue License Renewal 10 08/10/2021 GEN-0007 The purpose of this RIS is to request operating reactor licensees to inform the NRC of its intent to pursue license renewal.

L-2022- RIS - DOE Lab Audits 3 03/02/2022 GEN-0000 The purpose of this RIS is to clarify the agencys regulatory position about the required assessment of U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) laboratories by licensees, applicants, and suppliers to verify the effective implementation of their quality assurance (QA) programs.

L-2022- IN - Reporting Clarification When a Fixed Gauge Shutter is Stuck in the Closed Position 3 03/08/2022 GEN-003 The purpose of this IN is to provide information to all materials licensees authorized to possess, use, or store radioactive material for fixed gauges.

L-2022- RIS - ATF (Accident Tolerant Fuel Review Scheduling) 2 04/13/2022 GEN-0004 The purpose of this RIS is to assist the NRC in determining budgetary and technical resource needs with respect to the licensing of reactor fuels with accident tolerant fuel (ATF) concepts, higher burnup, and increased enrichment and any changes in previously announced plans to license the use of these technologies; and to promote early communication between the NRC and licensees and potential applicants about the planned licensing of reactor fuel with ATF concepts, increased enrichment, and higher burnup, which is consistent with Version 1.2 of the NRCs ATF project plan.

L-2022- RIS - Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) 2 04/19/2022 GEN-005 The purpose of this RIS is to communicate the agencys plans to discontinue its Sensitive Unclassified Non-Safeguards Information (SUNSI) program and to implement a controlled unclassified information (CUI) program on September 20, 2022; and to discuss the agencys plans to enter into formal CUI information-sharing agreements with non-executive branch entities (e.g., addressees), whenever feasible, before sharing CUI with those entities.
