SUMMARY
OF APRIL 14, 2022, CLOSED MEETING WITH FRAMATOME INC. AND THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION FOR TOPICAL REPORT, ANP-10339P, REVISON 0, ARITA - ARTEMIS/RELAP INTEGRATED TRANSIENT ANALYSIS METHODOLOGY REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION On April 14, 2022, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a closed teleconference meeting via Microsoft Teams with representatives from Framatome Inc.
(Framatome). The purpose of the meeting was for the NRC staff and Framatome representatives to discuss the requests for additional information (RAIs) responses received from Framatome on July 31 and November 20, 2020 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Package Accession Nos. ML20237F488 and ML20335A217),
regarding the Framatome Topical Report ANP-10339P, Revision 0, ARITA - ARTEMIS/RELAP Integrated Transient Analysis Methodology. The meeting notice is available in ADAMS at Accession No. ML22087A075.
During the meeting, there were discussions between Framatome representatives and the NRC staff regarding RAIs 11, 27, 28, 29, 31, and 83. The next RAI discussion will take place at the upcoming 2-day in-person audit on April 20-21, 2022, at Framatomes facility in Lynchburg, Virginia. Additionally, the NRC staff and Framatome representatives will wrap-up RAI discussions at a meeting on April 28, 2022.
