Pre-submittal meeting with Virginia Electric and Power Company (VEPCO) to discuss its proposed license amendment for Surry Power Station, Units 1 and 2.

Date(s) and Time(s): April 13, 2022, 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM ET Location: Teleconference Category: This is an Observation Meeting. This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

The purpose of this meeting is for VEPCO to discuss its proposed license amendment for Surry Power Station, Unit 1 and 2 to amend (on a one-time basis) the Technical Specification's auxiliary feedwater (AFW) cross-connect, 72-hour allowed outage time to permit replacement of the Unit 2 Emergency Condensate Storage Tank AFW supply piping.
