2) LES-22-0 16-NRC , Response to IATO Specific Condition s 1 through 3 In the Reference 1 letter, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commiss ion (NRC) provided Louisiana Energy Services, LLC , dba Urenco USA (UUSA), interim authority to operate (IATO) its classified cyber networks. This IATO expires January 31 st , 2022.

In the Reference 2 letter, UUSA responded to the NRC's request for additional information needed in order to grant a new authority to operate. With the information provided in Reference 2, UUSA has now either completed, or submitted a Plan of Action & Milestones detailing its plans to complete, the five specific conditions in the IATO.

UUSA requests the NRC's Chief Information Officer authorize reaccreditation of the classified cyber networks for the processing up to and including Confidential Restricted Data. In the event that further evaluation is needed for reaccreditation of the classified cyber networks, UUSA alternatively requests the NRC extend expiration date of the Reference 1 IATO for an additional six months from the expiration date. UUSA requests the proposed reaccreditation or extension be made effective on or before the current January 31st, 2022 expiration date.
