Good afternoon, The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued the Draft plant-specific Supplement 23, Second Renewal, to the Generic Environmental Impact Statement (GEIS) for License Renewal of Nuclear Plants, NUREG 1437, regarding the Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 (Point Beach). The Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 is available in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) under Accession No. ML21306A226. To access ADAMS, go to https://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
The Federal Register Notice announcing the comment period for the Draft EIS will be issued shortly.
