CA, Email: jyarbro2003@yahoo.com General Comment Regarding NextEra Energy and Point Beach, WI, and the matter of an 80-year operating license for NextEra Energy, there must be intervention and a hearing in this matter. I advise, having done my own research, that NextEra Energy NOT be given an operating license, unless they agree to safely shut down the Point Beach facility. The cost of nuclear is too high compared to solar and wind energy, the waste generated is multi-generational and very hazardous with no known, safe way to deal with it, and the risk of continued operation of that plant to Lake Michigan water quality and the safety of the people of the region represents a clear and present danger.
