SUMMARY
OF THE JULY 14, 2021, PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS KAIROS POWER LLCS QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM TOPICAL REPORT CLARIFICATION QUESTION On July 14, 2021, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held an Observation public meeting with Kairos Power LLC (Kairos) using the Microsoft Teams platform. The meeting notice is available at Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML21190A090. The NRC staff held the meeting with Kairos to discuss a clarification question regarding Revision 3 of Kairos topical report (TR), KP-TR-007-NP, Quality Assurance Program for the Kairos Power Fluoride Salt-Cooled High Temperature Reactor (ADAMS Accession No. ML21117A048). The NRC staff provided the clarification question to Kairos via email on July 7, 2021 (ADAMS Accession No. ML21189A308). The enclosure to this document provides the list of attendees.
During the meeting, Kairos stated that it will respond to the clarification question by providing a table in its electronic reading room for NRC staff review. The table will indicate the sections of the topical report that describe how each of the requirements in Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Paragraphs 50.34(f)(3)(ii) and (iii) are met.
