Dear Mr. Lubinski:
The purpose of this letter is to provide American Centrifuge Operating, LLC's (ACO) responses to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) request for additional information as Enclosure 1.
On June 30, 2021 (Reference 1), ACO submitted the License Amendment Request for ACO's License Application and Supporting Documents to support the High Assay Low Enriched Uranium Demonstration Program. NRC completed their review of the License.Amendment Request and on August 2i/, 2021 (Reference 2), NRC provided a copy of the requests for additional information to ACO for response development. contains Security-Related Information and, in accordance with the guidance provided by the U.S. Department of Energy (I)OE), contain Official Use Only information. Therefore, ACO requests this enclosure be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 2.390( d)(l ). Additionally, Enclosures 1 has been determined, in accordance with the guidance provided by the DOE, to contain Export Controlled Information and must be protected from disclosure per the requirements of 10 CFR Part 810.
