This is a Comment-Gathering Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to receive comments from participants on specific NRC decisions and actions to ensure that NRC staff understands their views and concerns.
Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to receive public comments on the IPEC PSDAR, including the decommissioning cost estimate, dated December 19, 2019 (ADAMS Accession No. ML19354A698). A notice of receipt; availability; the purpose of the public meeting; and request for comments was published in the Federal Register on June 24, 2021 (86 FR 33383). This virtual webinar follows the in-person public meeting held on July 29, 2021 which included a phone bridgeline. However, local storms and technical issues involving the telecommunications equipment resulted in remote participants encountering audio problems. All participants must register at the internet address below to see the visual portion of the presentations. In addition, all participants must call in at 1-888-989-9738, passcode 2331350# in order to hear the audio portion of the presentations. After registering, a confirmation email will be sent with details for joining the webinar. A copy of the presentation slides is available at ML21217A199.

This is a virtual public meeting where participants will be able to see the presentations on a computer screen and hear the presenters through their telephone. There is also the option to join via phone only by calling in to the number above. Audio will not be available through the computer. In order to participate for the webinar, attendees are encouraged to register as soon as possible and preferably at least a day in advance to the August 18, 2021, virtual meeting.
