LOUISIANA ENERGY SERVICES - AMENDMENT 90, APPROVAL OF DECOMMISSIONING FUNDING INSTRUMENTS (ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER L-2021-DFA-0004)
Dear Mr. Padgett:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has reviewed the letter dated April 1, 2021, providing decommissioning funding instruments. We have concluded that the funding instruments are acceptable. Pursuant to Part 70 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), Materials License SNM-2010, Condition 10 is hereby amended to read to as follows:
10.af Decommissioning Financial Assurance submitted by letters dated December 12, 2019 (ML19351C772); October 12, 2020 (ML20296A196), and April 1, 2021 (ML21109A186).
Enclosed are copies of the amended license (Enclosure 1) and the non-public safety evaluation report (Enclosure 2). This amendment completes action on your request. Enterprise Project Identification No. L-2021-DFA-0004 is considered CLOSED.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter, and the non-sensitive portions of the enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room and the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
Documents transmitted herewith contain Security-Related and Proprietary Information. When separated from the sensitive conditions on Pages 13-16 of and Enclosure 2, this document is decontrolled.
