OF JULY 1, 2021, TELECONFERENCE CALL TO DISCUSS TYPE I AND II TANK SPECIAL ANALYSIS GOLDSIM MODEL AND ALTERNATIVE FAST ZONE SIMULATIONS On July 1, 2021, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and their contractors held a teleconference call to discuss NRC questions on the Type I and II Tank Special Analysis (SA) GoldSim model and specifically the simulation of the alternative fast zone (AFZ) cases in the SA. The list of questions discussed and preliminary responses to the questions is enclosed. Following the meeting, DOE also provided example GoldSim files as requested by NRC staff during the teleconference (ML21190A193).
