Dear Mr. Rhoades:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) acknowledges receipt of Exelon Generations
verbal request on May 17, 2021, for additional time to respond to the Final Notice of Violation
(ML21105A543) issued on April 20, 2021. The basis for the extension was due to additional
time needed for clarification regarding the backfit appeal and violation dispute processes.
Based on this discussion, I approve the request for a 14-day extension of time from May 20,
2021, to June 3, 2021, to formally respond to the violation.
