Purpose:
The purpose of this teleconference is to discuss Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc.'s (Entergy) proposed alternative request for a one-time deferral of a 90-day follow-up inspection required by ASME Code Case N-513-4 (Code Case) for Indian Point Unit No. 3 (Indian Point 3). The Code Case is currently being applied to a through-wall leak in the Indian Point 3 service water system piping. The proposed alternative request would allow for the inspection to be performed within 150 days from detection of the leak rather than the current Code Case requirement of 90 days.
