U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Exemption Request for NRC Review Fees Docket Nos. 50-352 and 50-353 February 04, 2021 Page 2 References 1 through 6 provided background for Reference 7, in which Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Exelon) transmitted an NRC Review Fee Exemption Request for the License Amendment Request and associated pre-submittal meetings for the Limerick Digital Modernization Project.

Exelon is withdrawing the Reference 7 exemption request. Exelon has determined that additional detail that more clearly differentiates the Limerick Modernization Project should be documented for NRC consideration. Exelon plans to resubmit a fee exemption request as the conceptual design is further refined and pertinent details become available. This will enable Exelon to further demonstrate that this project is in the best interest of the public and nuclear industry.
