FEBRUARY 10 - 12, 2021, REGULATORY AUDIT PLAN FOR FRAMATOME INC. TOPICAL REPORT, ANP-10349P, REVISION 0, GALILEO IMPLEMENTATION IN LOCA METHODS (EPID L-2020-TOP-0059)
Dear Mr. Peters:
By letter dated October 7, 2020 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML20290A662), Framatome, Inc. (Framatome) submitted Topical Report (TR) ANP-10349P, Revision 0, GALILEO Implementation in LOCA [Loss-of-Coolant Accident] Methods (ADAMS Package No. ML20290A661), to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for review and approval. Framatome states in part that ANP-10349P describes the implementation of the fuel performance code GALILEO into Framatome pressurized water reactor LOCA.
The NRC staff technical review of this TR is ongoing. The NRC staff determined that a regulatory audit is needed in order to facilitate the review. The NRC staff will perform a virtual regulatory audit on February 10 - 12, 2021. Enclosed for your information is a copy of the plan the NRC staff will follow on the audit.
