If so, we will get you the electronic copy of the signed self-guarantee letter signed by Glen Shor who is the interim EVPT as Ruiz is no longer at MIT.

MIT is working on filing the financial assurance letter and we are wondering if it is okay to email you the submission this year instead of mailing it? We are all working from home and it would be difficulty to mail the submission this year.
MIT also had a consultant do a Decommissioning Cost Estimate (DCE) this year. The end result will not differ materially from what has been developed over time from the Duke study. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Update to Financial Assurance
- Ross, The NRC has performed an acceptance review of your submittal dated September 27, 2019, Compliance Submissions. Self- Guarantee Agreement Pursuant to 10 CFR Part 50, 10 CFR Part 70 and NUREG-1757, Vol.3, License SNM-986 (Docket No.: 70-0938) and found it acceptable for further review. This is a formal step that is tracked within the Agency to ensure a licensee understands the progress of an action request. For billable licensees, notifications such as these are informative relevant to charges to an organization. There are no charges to MIT, being categorically excluded under Title 10 CFR 51.22(c)(14)(v).
A detailed review of your submittal continues is the next step in the process. If there is
further information needed for the submittal, I will contact you to discuss any deficiency found and follow that with a formal written request. If you should have any questions regarding this, please feel free to contact me.
