By letter dated September 25, 2020 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML20283A816), Westinghouse Electric Company (Westinghouse) submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) an approval
(-A) version of Topical Report (TR) WCAP-17794-P-A and WCAP-17794-NP-A, Revision 0, 10x10 SVEA Fuel Critical Power Experiments and New CPR Correlation: D5 for SVEA-96 Optima3, for the NRC staff review.
I will send the verification form for WCAP-17794-P-A and WCAP-17794-NP-A, Revision 0, 10x10 SVEA Fuel Critical Power Experiments and New CPR Correlation: D5 for SVEA-96 Optima3, via BOX. This form documents the NRC staff verification review.
The -A version of the TR incorporates the NRC staffs safety evaluation (SE). Based on its review of the TR, the NRC staff has determined that it is acceptable to the extent delineated in the NRC staffs SE dated July 28, 2020 (ADAMS Accession No. ML20176A459).
This email and the form will be placed in the ADAMS and declared publicly available.
