I have lived in Lea and Eddy counties since 1979 and understand the science behind both the WIPP and Holtec projects. The site and communities are an ideal location for this project. There is ready access to a workforce that is industry trained.

Southeast New Mexico has accepted the nuclear industry with open arms.

Urenco USA, Waste Control Specialist LLC, Waste Isolation Pilot Plant and Carlsbad Environmental Monitoring and Research Center have all located here for the unique geologic attributes of the region.

As a resident of Carlsbad, I support the approval of Eddy Lea Energy Alliance

- Holtec Project.
