REVISED LICENSE RENEWAL COMMITMENT SUPPLEMENT PRESSURIZER SURGE LINE WELDS INSPECTION FREQUENCY 20-049A RO 50-338/339 NPF-4/7 By letter dated March 26, 2020, Virginia Electric and Power Company (Dominion Energy Virginia) requested NRC approval to revise the North Anna Units 1 and 2 pressurizer surge line welds inspection frequency from once every 40 months to once per 10-year inspection interval for the fifth and sixth ISi intervals.
The attachment to the March 26, 2020 letter included the flaw tolerance evaluation for the North Anna Units 1 and 2 pressurizer surge line welds, which was prepared by Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. The purpose of this supplemental letter is to further assist the NRC staff in their review of Dominion Energy Virginia's commitment change request.
Accordingly, Attachments 1 and 2 provide the results of the last examinations performed on the Unit 1 and Unit 2 pressurizer surge line welds during refueling outages N1 R25 (Fall 2016) and N2R26 (Spring 2018), respectively. There were no reportable indications identified as a result of the examinations.
