Ebneter Regional Administrator RE: University of Florida Training Reactor Facility License: R-56 Docket No. 50-83 As per telephone conversation on 18 September 1989 relative to the Safety Channel 1 High Voltage Trip on 15 September 1989, the UFTR staff has reviewed cnd concluded that this occurrence is not a potential violation of the UFTR technical specifications but in view of recent equipment problems, recommends NRC notification for information purposes. This event will be examined by the UFTR Safety Review Subcommittee at its regular meeting on 19 September 1989.
