. Tennessee Valley Authority is licensed under NRC Materials License No. SNM-1873 to receive, possess, inspect, and store uranium enriched in the U-235 isotope.

In the subject application, the licensee has submitted a request to update the original license application l
dated May 13, 1980.

Discussion The June 16, 1989, application reflects revisions made to the original license application, including changes which have resulted from reorganization and previous license amendments.
Conclusions Recommendations 1
Staff finds that the proposed revisions will have no adverse effect on the public health and safety or on the environment. Approval of the amendment I
application is recommended. The Office of Special Projects, Region II, has no 1
objection to this action.
