1.2 Discussion RMTs provide the off-site survey information necessary for the plume l
phase. POSL sampling is reserved more for the relocation and ingestion pathway phase and, therefore, would typically not be performed until the plume has passed. Thermoluminescent dosimeters and air filters may also provide information to help determine the past integrated dose.
