'Ihis letter refers to a routine safety inspection of activities authorized by
NRC license Nos. DPR-44 ard DPR-56 by Messrs. C. Amato and C. Conklin of this
office on April 10-13, 1989 at your Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Delta,
Pennsylvania. Discussions of our firdings were held by Mr. Amato with Mr. D
Smith and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined duriry this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Ins M ion Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selected examination of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified. No reply
to this letter is required.
