Inspection Report No. 50-423/89-12
This letter refers to the routine inspection conducted by Mr. McBrearty and
Mr. Winters of this office on June 26-30, 1989, at the Millstone Nuclear
Power Station, Unit 3, in Waterford, Connecticut. The results were discussed
w;th Mr. Clement of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
This inspection was directed at activities related to the inservice
inspection program. Areas examined are described in the NRC Region I Report
which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, selected examina-
tions were made of procedures and representative records, interviews with
personnel, and ob:ervations by the inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
No reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this
matter is appreciated.
