Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, Commonwealth Edison proposes to amend Appendix A, Technical Specification to Facility Operating Licensee DPR-29 and DPR-30 for the Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station.
In response,to the recommendation provided during an NRC Inspection in April,_1988 (Reference (a))
and the Discretionary Enforcement related to Technical Specification 4.5.C.2 (Reference (b)), the proposed changes revise the High Pressure Coolant Injection (flPCI) and Reactor Core Isolation Cooling (RCIC) testing requirements to be consistent with the requirements of NUREG-0123, Revision 3, Standard Technical Specifications for Genere.1 Electric Boiling Water Reactors, gg4ons!!8888$g4 Il P

l In addition, operability requirements have been revised to be consistent with actual system design requirements. These changes are listed in Attachment 1 and further described in Attachments 2 and 3.
