In response to Generic Letter 87-09, South Carolina Electric & Gas Company l
(SCE&G) hereby requests revision to the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Technical Specifications. These proposed revisions clarify and solve various l
problems regarding Technical Specifications 4.0.3 and 4.0.4.
)
This request is' comprised of three enclosures. Enclosure 1 contains the
. proposed amended pages to. Specifications 4.0.3 and 4.0.4. provides
'the revised bases for Specifications 4.0.3 and 4.0.4. provides the results of an analysis, pursuant to 10 CFR 50.91, which concludes that the proposed changes do not involve a significant hazards consideration.
These changes have been reviewed and approved by the Plant Safety Review Committee and the Nuclear Safety Review Committee.
