ATOMIC ENERGY-CONTROL' BOARD (AECB) 0F CANADA REQUALIFICATION EXAMINATION AND~ TRAINING OBSERVATIONS AT MILLSTONE UNIT 3 This letter is to document a telephone conversation on May 15, 1989 between Mr.
Ronald Stotts of your staff.and Ron Eaton of Region I-regarding the above subject. visit of the AECB at Millstone Unit 3.
I am pleased that your manage-a ment welcomes the opportunity to allow the Canadian AECB representatives to observe'.the facility. training. and NRC administered-examinations at your facility scheduled for the week of September 18, 1989. It is my understanding that observations of.the examinations will-be limited to. no more than one AECB representative per. examinee to minimize the impact on the examinees and the evaluators during the actual ' administration of the written examinations and operating tests.
Furthermore, I
understand that you are extending an invitction fcr the AECB to observe a week of the facility requali fication.
- training which.will be' conducted during a. six week period starting the. week of
' August 7, 1989.
The NRC10ffice of' International Programs will coordinate this visit 'with AECB, Region I and Millstone Unit 3.
